Why throw out your scraps when you could be #composting?

My family started composting last summer when we planted our garden, as a way to fertilize the plants and keep them healthy. It was also a great way to use up our fruit and veggie scraps instead of just throwing them out. The only issue was that keeping scraps in the house resulted in fruit flies and a not so great smell, even when we kept them in sealed bags.

This compost bin is made of stainless steel and is a single piece, so there’s no worry of leaking. It has a one-gallon capacity, and a handle for easy carrying. The lid has a double layered charcoal filter to keep all the potential odors inside the can, and it even comes with replacement filters.

We’ve been using ours for a couple of weeks now, and I’m very happy with it. I keep ours on the counter, so I remember to toss any scraps we have in the bin instead of the trashcan. If you’re interested, you can find this compost bin on amazon. I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review. The opinions expressed are 100% my own.
